Before I saw the video of Mario Tennis Open that Nintendo released today I couldn't of been more not interested in it. Every previous clip Nintendo has pushed out just showed Mario n' pals playing some boring no-frills video game tennis, which is something I could do by shoving Mario Power Tennis for Gamecube into my Wii. This video, though, shows there's a whole lot more going on. See it after the jump!

Super Mario Bros. via a tennis ball! Not only play as your Mii, but customize it with sweet Mario Tennis apparel that you can buy with coins you earn in game! There's definitely more than just bland tennis going on here.
