Apparently, Somebody At CBS Thinks A Draw Something TV Show Is A Good Idea

Yup, the people who thought a twitter feed was enough to make a sitcom out of (CBS), apparently think casual social drawing game Draw Something has potential as game show.

Colossalcon 11 Cosplay Extravaganza

Didn't make it out to Colossalcon 11 in Sandusky, Ohio?  That's okay, neither did I (because I didn't know it was a thing...so maybe next time?) but lucky for us, honorary PXT roving reporter Liz Parlapiano was on the scene!  It looks like it was a great time, and was held at the Kalahari Resort, so if you get bored of looking a hug pillows and PVC figures you can hit up the water park!  Anyways, there was apparently a metric effton of great cosplay, from Touhou to Pokemon to a few you wouldn't expect (Columbia from Rocky Horror? Why not?).  Hit the jump to see all the costumed goodness!

Holy Crap, Axe Cop is Getting a TV Show!

Extremely popular webcomic Axe Cop is headed for Fox 2013!  It's going to be in 15 minute episodes as part of Fox's new Animation Domination HD (ADHD, you're so clever Fox) block that will premiere the same year.  The whole block sounds like an Adult Swim ripoff (and is being helmed by Nick Weidenfeld, a former Adult Swim exec), with 15 minute shows and a late night timeslot (it'll be going up against SNL) but if Axe Cop is involved I'll be there!  Currently they're looking for a writer to adapt it for TV, but last I check Axe Cop already has a writer (who was 5 at the time of Axe Cop's creation) who is plenty up to the task.  Actually I'm sort of worried Axe Cop written by anyone but a kid will feel forced, but we'll see.

Also I feel like Axe Cop would be a whole lot funnier if it were live action, perhaps with corny CGI effects.

End of an Era: Cash Cab is Cancelled!

After seven years and a whopping 200 episodes, Discovery is pulling the plug on everyone's favorite taxi cab service/trivia show, Cash Cab.  It still gets consistently good ratings and Ben Bailey has won 2 Emmys for his mad hosting skills, but Discovery Channel apparently decided they don't want to run shows that are cheap to make that people like, apparently.

Personally though, I got kinda turned off to Cash Cab when the show's horrible secret was revealed to me on the Pizzacast.

Season four starts tonight at 7:3o with a episode titled "Hot to the Touch." Flame princess returns and Finn and Jake set out to prove she's not evil.

If you missed the season three finale "Incendium", or just want to remind yourself how awesome she is, Cartoon Network is playing  it again at 7:15, so you might want to tune in early.

Watch the preview for Hot to the Touch after the jump!

South Park Reveals the Dangers of the Common Toilet

Last night was the season 16 premiere of South Park. While not being one of their best episodes, it was still pretty good. If you don't want the episode spoiled, you can watch the episode here before traversing into the jump for a summary and a clip (NSFW, obviously)!

REMINDER: Community Returns Tonight!

Make sure there's room in your schedule to watch the season premiere of Community tonight at 8pm (Eastern)! If you don't I'm not sure if we can be friends anymore.

Adventure Time Returns April 2nd! Mathematical!

Totally Rhombus! According to a press release from Cartoon Network, Emmy nominated Adventure Time will be returning for its 4th season on April 2nd! Love the fact that the gaps between seasons are so short, they are really pumping these things out!

Could Courage the Cowardly Dog Be Coming Back to TV?

Recent buzz on Tumblr and Buzzfeed would lead one to believe that yes, Courage is returning in 2012. Unfortunately, I can't find any solid sources so I wouldn't take it with a grain of salt.  The Youtube video proposes that it's a "leaked trailer," but it was uploaded Sept. 2011.  The production values seem a little bit lower than one would expect from a Cartoon Network promo.  I'd file this under "too good to be true".  Plus, I'd much rather see Dexter's Laboratory come back anyways.

TV Thoughts: The Walking Dead "Triggerfinger" 2/19/12

Last night’s The Walking Dead definitely showed that things are starting to pick up. Let’s talk about it after the jump.

A First Look at New Teen Titans

A first look at the New Teen Titans shorts that will be a part of Cartoon Network's upcoming DC Nation programing block of all DC Comics related comic.  Looks cute! I like how Raven's body just looks like the wisps of a Pac-Man Ghost, and the line "Here's a thought: Let's make the characters three dimensional" is just priceless.
