And Suddenly, There Was a Trailer for Lego Lord of the Rings

There's been murmurs that the next big Lego game after Lego Batman 2 would be Lego Lord of the Rings, but we haven't actually seen it.  Well today all that has changed, because the fine folks at Traveler's Tales (who make all these Lego games... and Sonic 3D Blast-- remember that game?) have released a trailer and a few details about the game.

I mean how cool was that, right? There's just something about Lego and LOTR that go together so well. There hasn't been a Lego theme this great since Lego met Pirates (although the recent DC and Marvel lines have been pretty amazing). As for the game itself, it has voice acting (since they decided to start including that in Lego Batman 2) that they actually pulled straight from the movies themselves!  Apparently it is going to be much more adventure focused than the upcoming Lego Batman 2 as well, and have a larger inventory and puzzle focus sort of like Lego Indiana Jones did.  It will also have an open world hub (like LB2, again)of Middle Earth instead of Gotham City.  Basically it sounds like they are going to include all the cool improvements they put into Lego Batman 2 and putting a LOTR twist on them.  Color me excited!
